Expanding perceptions

By Limor Shiponi

As tolerant and receptive as I see myself, I constantly learn I still have way to go. This time the lesson arrived via seeing Willow Wilson wearing a hijab. Living in the Middle East I’ve never seen a woman with such fair skin wear it. My mind constantly went “nun”. It took sitting next to Willow for a while until my perception expanded. Thanks for this important lesson.
